I sat out the 2016 WSOP
This is a first for me – back to my first ventures to Vegas, I always stopped by the WSOP, even if it was for a few hours. Later I had a media pass and went to take pictures and say “Hi” to players I know that come to Vegas during the series.
Interrupting the Dream run
The dreams are still running but distorted lately, I’m not in the stress mode of trying to get to work or deal a game, although Jennifer Harman, my ex-husband poker player, and a few others are popping into the dreams, they’ve taken on a different texture lately. But in the meantime, the dreams of thousands of others are kicking off tomorrow in Las Vegas as the WSOP brings the pros, wannabes, newbs, and everything in between into Sin City.

I dream more about poker now than I think about it. Stress dreams it seems, always manifesting in a poker room or situation where I’m late and need to be pushing the lineup or the cards are cut weird or stuck together, or the tables are 20 feet long or some such nonsense.
