First we had the horrible hateful winds and some rain, and it was cold, and more wind, but the wave of grasshoppers is the WORST type of weather one can imagine. They are migrating right now, by the thousands upon thousands, and I hope they are on their way to hell and all their little wingy-poos get burned off. Will he or won’t he?
I wanted to title this Will they or won’t they? because there are more than singles here, there are multiples. Continue reading Will he or won’t he?
The pain – the Boston Marathon
Too hurtful to even think about. Is there a message hidden somewhere in killing or maiming people and destroying the lives of those left behind? I can’t find one. My heart and thoughts feel a kinship with the effect of 911. Continue reading The pain – the Boston Marathon
Crazy weather makes me crazy
We got hit with an incredible windstorm – I named them Diabolical Underhanded Bastards…DUB for short. It began to wreak havoc with everything – even stuff that was nailed down – on Monday and then it rained too – off and on in spurts and drizzles. Continue reading Crazy weather makes me crazy
Where was I?
Oh…that’s right, I wasn’t! It’s a long story and some of it I can’t tell as it would create issues for me and the little people in my life so I’ll hit the spots that can be told. Continue reading Where was I?
The Hidden World
It’s a spectacular place! Filled with day dreams and fantasies chopped into small pieces by reality that float apart and then reunite in the never ending stream, our thought/mind/being is the only truly undiscovered world that can never be tapped to its full capacity or destroyed except by death. Continue reading The Hidden World
A little bit of catching up
This last weekend was filled with kid chatter and arguing, the kind that goes on between an almost 9 year-old boy and his sister that’s five-and-a-half. If there’s a way to pick, stab, gouge, or hurl insults, they found it. Continue reading A little bit of catching up
Calling about the bag of marijauna
It’s a bit of a story but I’m happy to take the time to tell it because it’s one that shows how stupidly naive people can be, especially when they are in business, and what they get away with because you don’t have a choice. Like this statement: “None of my employees do drugs.” Yeah, right buddy. Bears don’t shit in the woods either.

Damn government!
I must not be the only one that ever wonders WTF the feds were really accomplishing when they shut down online poker to the masses. And I must not be the only one that feels I possibly could have started to glean a nice little weekly stack from grinding online. And it’s possible I would score in tournaments too. I feel I got cheated in more ways than one by the U.S. government over the years and online poker is, once again, at the top of the “Linda-got-cheated” stack. Continue reading Damn government!
Hearts and flowers
Another Valentine’s Day is about to close the chapter on making your BF/GF or mate or mom or dad or kid or someone out there feel special. How did it go? I’ve been single for so long I can’t help but wonder what the fuss is all about. If you love someone, want to be with them, want to make them happy, then it should be a project for 365 days of the year. Continue reading Hearts and flowers
