It’s 11PM

I want to be in my sweet little Sleep Number bed, tucked under the covers, toasting off to sleep.  Instead I’m still sitting in the ‘press box’ with 7 players left at the WSOP Main Event Final Table.  I could load up everything and walk across the street to the Gold Coast and tuck under the covers on a bed that is pretty damned comfortable, and I may be forced to if 5 of these people don’t give up their quest for the title before 2 or 3 a.m.  My trusty writer Jennifer Newell is here recording the action and will write updates for the main page of PokerWorks so my butt is covered.  Problem is, it’s my brain that is feeling bare right now, not my butt. Let’s talk PITA!

I did the normal procrastinate as any hick from the sticks would, finally got every thing packed up I thought I would need, including my own little coffee maker and coffee and coffemate creamer.  I hate these little piece of shit coffee pots they have in the hotel with a little diaper filled with coffee in a brand that always tastes like it’s a cross between mud and tar – so the answer is to just bring my own.  I’m hooked on Maxwell House French Roast.  Now that I’m writing about it I can hardly wait to have my 1st cup tomorrow a.m. Continue reading Let’s talk PITA!

Who says there are only

24 hours in a day?  I know for a fact there were at least 70 in today.  It started at 5 a.m. when I woke up, got up to do the potty thing and couldn’t go back to sleep.  Then I was out for the desert hike with Amy at 7:30.  Back close to 9 and it was major property clean up time.  Sis’s block/heat reflecting/privacy wall is finished.  I helped started it but three butts was too much in the small space so I butted out and Vickie and Monte finished it.  It looks great. Monday in the Desert

Anyway I think it’s Monday.  Even with no scheduled time to really do anything – of course there’s always work – other than make an appointment to a Doctor or Dentist or meet with a friend, I still seem to manage to know when to pay my bills without being late.  That’s really nice.  As far as work goes, I work at odd hours and sometimes at banker’s hours. Calling anyone out there

that knows how to fix this issue for me.  I will buy you a drink or three if ever we should meet.  If not, then just accept my undying thanks for the help.  I admit to being a microsoft groupy, have been for years and have grown accustomed to everything they’ve come out with.  About three months ago, I received an excel file from a friend that had a giant blue space on the left, and in checking ‘view’ and all sorts of things, even searching the internet, I can’t find a solution to make the file load correctly to the left.  At the same time, my other excel files went to whacko mode when I opened them. PokerWorks’ Family Tournament

and a bit more.  We had a nice turnout of eight players.  Nonsensible joined us after a long absence – and ClearSpine made it.  Nice!  Charlie (ccmac) showed up but he was too late to get in.  I was drastically ill.  I made it to 3rd due to the good graces of the Card Fairy being on vacation.  This is how it played down:

Pulling up pictures of the past

My desert hikes have brought memories of other hikes long past.  This grannie does need to get organized… I told my hiking partner Amy about the morning glories in the desert.  She said they had a light pink look, I did the know-it-all “Nope!  These are completely white.”  Sure enough, I was wrong.  The ones I’m referring to are white but ain’t even Morning Glories.  I found them at this link and they are P-O-I-S-O-N-O-U-S!
