No, not pictures or trinkety things that go on the walls, just me hanging out at the new digs. It’s been a helluva struggle this last 3 weeks and yesterday was the 3 week anniversary of when we started making dump runs and working through the wreckage what was left behind in someone’s life. Really! For people to live in those conditions – and at least one of them had a job – their life was a wreck. The bad neighbors were a huge benefit for me in the long run and I’m thankful they were what they were and hope their life improves on down the road somewhere…really far away from me and mine. Crazy Daze at home
Spending your time out in the sticks would appear to be one of relatively quiet days with nothing but the wind going on and the quail and doves chirping at each other as they try to kick the others ass off of the bird block. The birds are squabbling with each other but there’s always more going on than that. I went out to throw garbage in the can and smelled propane a week ago. Yummy! Before confessing to having a birthday on the 3rd, I played the Battle of the Blogger Tournament challenge on the 2nd. I got lucky really early and managed to double up and bust a player when I raised with A-K and got reraised as they went all-in. I had been popping in raises periodically and it must’ve looked as if I was in complete steal mode with my raises, but I hit a flurry of hands – medium pocket pairs, A-Face, etc., – and raised preflop with them every time. So when I raised with A-K, I’m sure the other person figured I was stealing. He had Q-J suited (if I remember correctly) and I instacalled. Big slick was good. Continue reading B & A Birthday
