I just can’t get here. A lot of it is the time factor, the minutes speed by as I try to catch them – laughing at me as they skip off over my shoulder never to be captured or seen again. I feel like I’m in the middle of some huge life dilemma but I can’t put a finger on what it is and I can’t pick a direction. That’s a bad thing for a Taurus to have to admit. I still have my center, the core of what I am and what I believe in, but the life dilemma is hanging out there, waiting for me to make up my mind and make a positive move… Continue reading For some reason

I believe I can credit me with this saying
It’s an imperfect world ran by imperfect people! If I can’t, I should be able to because it’s how I feel about life. Rather than trying to fill my thoughts with the frustration of the repetitive, destructive cycle of most of mankind, I honestly try to think about better things. But sometimes it just drills a hole in the space my third eye is supposed live in and BOOM! It gets ugly. Continue reading I believe I can credit me with this saying
Forgive me PokerStars for I have sinned
I started out in a $2.20 NLH tournament on PokerStars last night. Go ahead and click the link and sign up if you want, while you’re doing that, I’ll tell you a little story. It all started with hand #37. In the BB, I had 10c-3c, no pre-flop raise, and flopped a four flush. We were at $25-50 blinds. I checked, the immediate player on my left – robotron714 – bet $200, everyone else folded and I called. The turn was a 7, I checked, so did he, the river a 7c, giving me a flush, I checked, so did he. I won the pot. Continue reading Forgive me PokerStars for I have sinned
CRIPES!
I played one hand of the Two 1/4M on PokerStars today. I looked down to A-A on the first hand. It’s a bad sign. You can almost feel the air around you turn to ice and start pressing in on your chest…you ain’t gonna win this hand. I didn’t. I raised it to 320, got two callers; flop 8d-kh-3h. I bet 740, got raised all-in by the Jh-10H…yah, I’m a fish. I called. No waiting, 8h on the turn and 2c on the river left this little fishie flapping on the rail. Fuck em, that’s all I have to say about it! On to other things. Continue reading CRIPES!

Stopping by the Rio
As I got ready to head out of Las Vegas on Thursday, I stopped by the old digs and picked up Riot for a few days. It created a small dilemma. I had also planned to pick up my media pass for the WSOP and I knew I could take Riot down the hallways of the world’s biggest poker extravaganza but I didn’t want to trip into the media area with him to pick up the pass. I called Jennifer Newell and she agreed to stay with Riot for five minutes in the hallway while I got the pass. Continue reading Stopping by the Rio

The WSOP and Vegas on the horizon
Tomorrow it’s up and on the road. The Rio is going to be one of my stops as I check in for my media pass, but it’s not my primary reason for going to Vegas. I’m checking into a hotel tomorrow night so I can make the 7 a.m. chair at the dentist’s office on Wednesday. If all goes well, I should be back at my hotel by 3 or 4 p.m. Maybe even sooner. Rain, Please Come Back
My blogging team member, Dr. Dad AKA Clearspine, wants the rain to leave. I want her to come back. This little angel face turned one year old yesterday and cut her first tooth all in the same day. She’s a beauty!
The TiSP
OK, OK, that wasn’t what I originally started to write about but it’s too damned funny to let it just go without a mention. Read it! Continue reading The TiSP
