So far he is a friend but there is no work done on my Jeep. See last post where I whine about being carless. I still am. Friday it will be two weeks since I left Las Vegas and left my rig setting up in the northwest by the old digs. The only good news is that the rebuild kit came in and I had it towed to my Montana friend’s house — Carole — where it’s at least off the street and she will keep an eye on it. It ain’t no fun when the rabbit’s got the gun
The good part of the trip in to Las Vegas on Thursday was spending time with Marie and Gary, mostly Marie because…well…just because, and having lunch with Sylvia Hart after she gave me a ride to the Orleans. Continue reading It ain’t no fun when the rabbit’s got the gun
In need of malware removal, registry fix, system optimization and more
Once again it’s been over two weeks since I disturbed the quiet of Table Tango. Of course I need much more than the title of this little mass of mental wanderings…I’m almost a hopeless bag (heavy on the bag) of tricks that lost the last trick a few years ago through a hole in the frayed, torn bottom of the bag. Happy New Year
If 2013 was a bad year, shoot the bastard out into space and forget it, build your new year starting now and focus on the way you want it to be. Short and to the point, happy new year to everyone. I’ll be back next year. 🙂
Merry Christmas from the desert
Christmas always marks the end of a year and the beginning of something new to me. I leave a lot of stones unturned throughout the year and when Christmas hits and I’ve not even bothered to break a fingernail trying to turn them over, the hell with it.
It’s almost Christmas
I’m not sure it matters one way or the other, Christmas that is. If you celebrate the birth of Christ – on Christmas – all I can say is “Go for it!” I hate the insanity that rolls in with the holiday season, some people are depressed while others are stressed, a few are happy but I’d put that in the under 10 category.
The Blogger’s Tournament
The blogger’s tournament was at Aria on Saturday. It was my first live tournament in a number of years and it made me very aware of how hard it is to sit for long periods of time at the poker table. My neck hurt, my shoulders weren’t very happy, and my legs were cramped from the foot rail that runs completely around the bottom of the table. Let’s face it, I’m getting old-er, and any time I’m confined to a seat for a long period of time, my body isn’t ready to cooperate. Continue reading The Blogger’s Tournament
The poker Bloggers are heading for Vegas
This weekend will find those of us that still blog about poker – and perhaps a few that don’t – heading for Sin City. Count me in that group. I’ve missed the last two years. This year my son will be here to sit the dog and the household while I’m out gallivanting around in Vegas.
Thanksgiving Eve, the day before gorging begins
I have no way to even begin to think out what is going on with anything and everything. Some days it really doesn’t pay to chew through the ropes, not that this is one of those days. But it started that way when my phone had no cell service this morning but my neighbor who is on the same tracphone service I’m on had service. I have an iPhone 4s and it did some IOS and carrier updating recently but I had service, until this a.m.

It was nine days ago – the WSOP November Nine
Little Miss Time Management never seems to keep up with everything and the pages in Table Tango reflect that. Nothing has gone up since I ventured out with the statement that I was going in to watch the November Nine at the Rio. I did go. I didn’t stay long.
