Thanksgiving Eve, the day before gorging begins

I have no way to even begin to think out what is going on with anything and everything. Some days it really doesn’t pay to chew through the ropes, not that this is one of those days. But it started that way when my phone had no cell service this morning but my neighbor who is on the same tracphone service I’m on had service.  I have an iPhone 4s and it did some IOS and carrier updating recently but I had service, until this a.m.

The main reason for the panic was due to changing ISPs today and they were going to call before coming out…no contact…no install.  The old ISP was shutting down today.  As it turned out, the tracphone service I run off of routes cellular through Verizon if you have an iPhone or Blackberry but other phones are running off of ATT.  Umnhhhhhh…. Once the ISP installer got here I found out he had Verizon and they were down.  About 20 minutes later his phone rang and he was back up and as soon as that happened, my service returned.  Now I have cell service and a new, faster ISP.  Still in the sticks using air internet but it’s much better than any previous service I’ve had other than Cox Cable when I lived in Vegas.

Tomorrow is a day to be spent over at my sis’s place, she’s got the big cookout going on and about 20 people should be there.  A few of those people are two of my sons and the possibility of Riot, though it looks doubtful at this point.  Momparental decided last week (after telling me I could have him for Thanksgiving previously) that she’s taking Riot hostage to go feed the homeless on Thanksgiving.  Supposedly it’s a 7 a.m. appointment. Really?  Oh well, if anything changes, Dadparental will bring Riot out with him.  I plan on enjoying the day and having a few glasses of wine.

With that, I’m out of here with the wish that everyone will enjoy the day and life will spread peace, health, and happiness to all of mankind around the globe.

Run you dumbass turkeys…run!!!
