Today is PokerWorks H.O.R.S.E.

tournament and I’d be mighty happy if ya’ll showed for it.  I’ve been out and about the yard today early, hauling more wheelbarrow loads of #2 gravel to the backside of the coach.  I have a plan, it’s always a dirt plan when it comes to the yard.  But I love the earth and the dirt and the desert and the weeds and planting and trimming and tending…I just hate the obnoxious wind.  It appears to be gone for a few days according to my good neighbor, Amy, who is a weather channel expert.  Yippee!

I cranked up the Onan – generator extraordinaire for those of you that don’t know.  It’s running now and will carry all my household electrical needs for the next few hours.  Gotta keep that baby running for a few hours every month to make sure it stays where it should with gasoline and no gumminess in the engine.  I do put in the gasoline keeper additive that will kept it from gumming up but still the generator needs its exercise just like the fat body does.  Soon it will have to go in for some kind of so many hour tune-up/check-up.  That is not a good thing for me.  There are several Cummins authorized dealers in Vegas, nice, but I live in this baby.  That generator isn’t a take out/drop off type of set-up.  It’s attached and weighs around 500 lbs so the boys tell me.  Well, it is what it is.  I can’t take long trips without it and I paid three arms and two legs for it so I want to keep it in optimal shape and running condition.  It’s also time to water the deep cell batteries.  I’m trying not to murder them like I did those other two almost two years ago – and they are expensive to replace.  Kee-rist!  Can you believe it’s almost two years ago that I left Bellagio’s fine company?  Me neither!

After the Onan runs it little heart out, then it’s oil check time too.  Hey, I’ve gotten pretty damned good at full timing.  One thing I did learn, if I ever upgraded rigs and went for the skirting, I would pull into their shop and have them do the custom fit thing for me.  The skirting is OK but looks a little tacky in certain spots around certain hatches and doors that one must always have access to for maintenance.  Skirting School 101 – Lesson learned.

I’m registered to play the Sunday 1/4 Million on PokerStars in about an hour and a half.  If you’re on playing look me up and say HI!  PokerWorks is my handle.
