I don’t know why. The question keeps running through my head, “What is wrong with you?” The part that should answer, can’t. I don’t know. I’ve sworn more in the last 24 hours than I have in six months. The small things – like a bottle that should easily take its twist off cap in a reverse rotation to reseat the cap, won’t…and I want to go off on a swearing rage over it. Or I touch something and it falls over, another swearing rage. Continue reading ANGER!!!

St. Patrick’s Day
I got married 38 years ago today…to a liar named Robert Gregory Geenen that claimed he was Irish and was born in Killarney Ireland. He may be Irish but I found out some years later that he was born in Porterville CA. Ahhh…young love. Give me that blindfold, baby, I don’t need anything but you. Continue reading St. Patrick’s Day
Countrywide and Walgreens
I believe in complaining to solve issues with companies and product problems/defects. I also believe that when a reasonable course of action has been implemented or a response given, it has to be noted. After all…life can’t be only about bitching or we’d be ugly, old shriveled prunes at the age of 30. So here it is: Continue reading Countrywide and Walgreens
I’m mental
I went to my dentist today to see about a cure for the aging jaw moving forward your teeth are under a lot of stress thingey. I came home to find my whole RV park cordoned off with police cars everywhere. I made it through a parking lot behind the office to my little section of pie and went inside. I didn’t want to know what was going on out there. There were way too many yellow lines of plastic wrapped across every area that one would think about walking, let alone driving, for me to even consider that it wasn’t something dreadfully serious. Welcome to Countrywide
HELL! It’s just a never ending ordeal once you have a mortgage with them. A week ago I sent a registered letter to customer service:
It’s happened
I’ve turned into a grouchy bitch. I was just a bitch, now I’m grouchy. After fading the crap about my insurance on Wed. at my Dr.’s office and having to reset the appointment, (it’s tomorrow BTW – Saturday), that whole ordeal irritated the hell right out of me. Make it a point to fast for a cholesterol blood test, (and be tested for the HIV, Hepatitis nightmare) wake up earlier than I would like, drive across town – do these people know that diesel is $3.69 a gallon? And then they don’t want to mess with me unless I pay cash, which I would if they would refund it all when they got their insurance payment…but who wants to count on anyone for that? Not me! Today was a mixed up
time wasting little sort of mess, throw in a bit of irritation on my side, and I’m back home. I had an appointment with my Dr. to have blood drawn and see if I had escaped the mess at Shadow Lane. After checking in, I got called back up to find out they couldn’t verify my insurance. I carry Cobra but according to Fiserv Health, my policy terminated on the 1st of March. NOT! The Top of the World
at the Stratosphere. The last time I was there must be 8 or 9 years ago when Christoph Haller treated Carmen Bates, her daughters, and me to dinner there. It looked the same. The food was great. I ate too much, or ordered to much and ate most of it, however that works. I was there courtesy of Johnph77’s generosity. We met through these pages about four years ago. John made it to one of our Poker Clan meets for breakfast at the Sun Coast when he was in town for a Pinochle Tournament back in 2003 – I think. Continue reading The Top of the World

Nevada Palace is going down
History repeats itself in Vegas, just bulldoze down one piece of history (or implode it) and build another one, and today is no different. Nevada Palace has seen its last day. It closes tomorrow night – the 29th – at 11 p.m. and if you ain’t there by early evening, you will miss it all…the smell of stale cigarettes/beer, the old slots, the remainder of the staff – the pit was closed down about two months ago according to the report Wayne and I got last night as we went in for one last meal in the coffee shop and to pick up a few chips.
