how you can sit in a holding pattern waiting for some things to happen – some of them hinge on another – before the flood gate opens and the insane rush starts. But it has started. Everything is happening at once. Continue reading Kinda Funny

Life pushes us along
and then hits the brakes and goes full speed into reverse, so we can back track, keep our memories fresh and alive, stay in touch with the reality that spins the fiber of what we are – and so it was tonight. Continue reading Life pushes us along
I have got to get out of town
A few days ago, as I sat at my work area in the coach, I heard the dreaded screech of tires that sounds like someone is braking for dear life. It went on and on and on…by now I had steeled my nerves for the sound of a crash, when the screeching appeared to go on forever, I was convinced that a vehicle was going to slam through the block wall that separates my RV park from Boulder Highway and then crash into my coach. Just as it stopped, I saw a car go around the horseshoe turn of my street and head back the other way – doing close to 50. No shit! I have no idea how he didn’t slide right into the other RVs at the end of the street. Immediately after he disappeared, a cop car came careening after him. WSOBB – Howard and Suzie Lederer and Steve Z.
I believe this is year six. I missed the first few due to work – that really is a four letter word. Continue reading WSOBB – Howard and Suzie Lederer and Steve Z.
Fireworks to the Extreme
Another year of bright lights and fancy after dark glitter to celebrate Independence in the USA. Continue reading Fireworks to the Extreme
Don’t this just beat all
My lips look like I’m a walking ad for collagen injections – and some type of permanent make-up. Reddish pink, more red than pink, that’s the color of these beauties that are driving me insane. The report of the Dr.’s visit and the call to the dentist are here. Continue reading Don’t this just beat all
Another Sunday
– another shot at PokerStars $100K guaranteed $11 buy-in tourney. I’m registered. So is Glenda. We have a pact to make the final table today. Right this minute nanosecond there are 17,519 registered and the head count is shooting up like fireworks on the 4th of July – there are always around 20,000K or higher in this event. It’s a crap shoot for sure, but someone has to win it, right? Right! I’ll keep trying, every Sunday that I don’t have something more pressing going on, I’ll be there. After all, what better way to hit my goal on Chasing Chris? The goal aside, I could use the cash, damn it! Continue reading Another Sunday
Tomorrow
The good news is that tomorrow is another day. The bad news is that’s what I tell myself every night when I’ve been trying to make some headway in things that seem to pile up and sit in the corners of my conscience. Continue reading Tomorrow
Rock Band
Rock band has been in my future for the last month or so. I put a deposit down at Game Stop – just to make sure I could feed my degenerate needs when it hit the stores. Sure, it’s been out on Xbox 360 and probably PS2 for quite some time, but I own a Wii. Continue reading Rock Band
back tracking
There’s always a buffet of life stacked out in front of me as far as the eye can see. I can’t possibly handle all of it in a lifetime and it feels as if I’m in continual glut mode just trying to taste part of it as time goes speeding by. Then as life happens, the buffet has new additions Continue reading back tracking
