Wishing all of those that celebrate the 4th of July as our day of independence a happy, safe weekend. Wishing me more energy and brain waves that connect and hold so I can get here more often and write. I hope to be back tomorrow for some overdue page filling fun.

Gotta love a hard drive crash – NOT
Just when I was kicking along, thinking I would be in prime writing mode, my pc did the slow down, die thing as I tried to reboot. It wouldn’t. I shut it off and tried again to get the ‘your computer did not start properly, try windows repair’ or something like that. I did, it went nowhere, just to a light blue screen with a big, stark, white arrow that was supposed to be my mouse…which wouldn’t move. Continue reading Gotta love a hard drive crash – NOT
The Pahrump Winery and Symphony’s Restaurant
Late as usual. *heavy sigh* All kinds of cluttery little life things going on that seem to suck time out of my allotted space and then there’s the time-stress-springboard. Of course you know what that is! Continue reading The Pahrump Winery and Symphony’s Restaurant
Anonymity – Writing from the Cloak of Shadows
When you jump into any medium on the Internet, you can hide behind the shield of disguising yourself and never let anyone know who you really are. Unless, of course you’re running some really hardcore child porn — or playing online poker — or something that grabs the feds by the nose hairs and starts yanking them in your direction.

Grumble Bug
That’s how I feel…all kinda grumbly and grouching. I know the last thing I promised to put up here was the trip to the Winery for dinner with Carmen, Danielle, and Sylvia, but as usual, I lost my focus and went ba-doinkers with the Poker Clones and Poker Bots post. So…this isn’t about the Winery either, it’s about being grumbly. Continue reading Grumble Bug
Poker Clones and Poker Bots
Here’s a little bit of my insanity leeching through to the pages of Tango. Consider the Poker Bot battles — and their development which is a very serious endeavor — because they aren’t being created strictly for the purpose of playing poker.
Busy as a little bee but I can’t find the hive
Some days it feels like I’m out collecting pollen and just when I’m overloaded, I can’t figure out where the hell I’m supposed to take it to…I think that means I’ve lost my focus. Or maybe I never had any.

The Cat under the house
A small thing really, living on the edge of the desert it’s hard to say what you would see on any given day when you look out the window or head out to the yard. On occasion I’ve had a pesky mouse get into my humble abode and I set a nice trap for it with a little piece of bacon stuffed into it for the mouse’s last meal. It never fails. Just Start Moving Forward
While the rest of the world spins around their own issues and life, I try to revolve slowly enough around mine that I can saturate myself in the insanity and roll around in the daily issues I feel I alone face, until I become a spongy mass that can bounce easily off the walls without doing too much damage to myself. The Beginning of the End
Life has a way to putting us to task. Sometimes we jump right into the harness and even if we’re running uphill, we put everything we have into making it work. Other times it’s like one of those dismal spots in the rearview mirror and the picture in the headlights is filled with dark pavement with an oil-slick sheen in the rain and there is no bright light to guide you forward.
