I don’t believe I’m melancholy. I believe it’s a reflection…a seasoning of the spirit, like fine wine that needs to ‘breathe’ when it’s opened by the person ready to partake of the aroma of the bouquet. Continue reading Monday, December 26, 2005

Recipe for Christmas.
Reach into your heart, pull out a cup of love – mix gently with kindness until the texture is smooth and even. Slowly add smiles and laughter, stirring as you pour. Add an abundance of good health and prosperity – kneading the mixture into a smooth, supple ball. Add wisdom and understanding to taste. Sprinkle with peace and good will as you spread it gently around the world. Serve all year long.

Hells Bells! Christmas is not only looming over the horizon, it’s on a fuel injected, head on collision course with our lives. But this isn’t about Christmas (that little bit of wordage will appear in the very near future, probably about the same time that Christmas hits), it’s about the shock factor that it’s already here and that means another year has slipped off into the ether regions of time. Dragging butt! There’s no other way to express how one feels when sleep isn’t the way it should be and there’s too much on the agenda. I couldn’t get the cobwebs out of my head when I woke up and I had to go across town to help a friend with a computer problem before work. Continue reading Monday, December 19, 2005
If I tell you a mouse can pull a house…
you hook him up! I read that quote on the net when I got my first computer in ’96. I loved it then, I love it even more now. Continue reading If I tell you a mouse can pull a house…

Check out this beauty – courtesy of the Hubble Site. No, it’s not one of the spots I’m going to visit on my road travels but it is a feast for the imagination. Continue reading Friday, December 16, 2005
Meeting Brandon Schaefer and others dear to my heart
The moon is out – it’s a beautiful 36 degrees tonight – just the kind of night that makes me really happy to have a place to hang out in, away from the freaking cold. No urges to race out into the night air and sprint to the top of a mountain…no sir-e-e-e. Get me hot blankets and lots of warm potent potables and I just might survive until the dawn hits. And what’s that old saying, “It’s always coldest just before dawn?” OK! Forget the dawn shit and just give me what I want. Continue reading Meeting Brandon Schaefer and others dear to my heart
WPBT Report – the final
This will be an attempt to finish my WPBT report…but don’t hold your breath as I’m not holding mine. If you visit the first pages I put up, there are a few corrections with pictures and names and blog urls attached – instead of unknowns. Thanks everyone for sending me an email. During the coming weeks I may post a picture and if one of you knows the mystery blogger, please send me the name and URL. And if your picture is up, and your eye color isn’t exactly as you remember it was when you looked in the mirror this morning, it’s because you had major red eye in the picture I have of you and I ‘touched’ it up. Live with it…ok? Continue reading WPBT Report – the final

Today is sweet Kayanna’s 9th birthday. She was born on Friday 13th, 1996, my mother was born on Friday 13th in December also. Kayanna’s my granddaughter. She lives in Missouri with her mom but the good news is she will be here at Christmas to spend four days with me. Better than SWEET! I hope the weather is good enough for a hike at Anniversary Narrows while they are here. I just called her and sang Happy Birthday to her…she was kicking the Sand Girl out of her eyes and thoughts, time to get ready for school. D-A-M-N…I don’t miss those ‘jump up at the crack of dawn when it’s colder than hell’ school days at all. Continue reading Tuesday, December 13, 2005

If you haven’t read the beginning of the WPBT, please jump to the previous post. I semi started trying to put some things together but I ran out of steam. It’s extremely difficult for a vampiress to have to survive when the sun is out – even if most of the time is spent in a casino. Continue reading Monday, December 12, 2005
