I played my ass off trying to win a seat in the Online Nine at the WSOP.com.  They had value-added tournaments, and I invested in three of them because I got lucky and won an $11 buy-in $500 guarantee rebuy & add-on.

That was a ton of fun!  As soon as we got down to heads-up, the cash was dumped on the table.

On the subject of the World Series of Poker, tomorrow I’m off to Vegas to spend a few days watching some, or all, or the final table.  The November Nine will be there battling it out for all the glory.

I’ll be camping out at Gary and Marie’s place for a few nights since they finally returned from Iowa about a week ago.  It’s going to be great to see them and Marie and I might even get a few hours in at a poker table…with us in the player’s seat. My boy Dan is here so Scout will be in good hands and I don’t have to worry about the home front while I’m gone.

I haven’t made it to The View from the Box since the one I put up a week ago.  If you haven’t read it, please do. I plan on another one before/by the end of the week.  I got a ping from Orion the other day and he asked if some of his friendly Japanese dealers could send me news for the blog.  I said, “YES!”  I hope to hear from them.

Very little time tonight so I’m out!  I should be back here shortly with some updates.
