Damn, the voice still suffers

The croaking frog still lives in my vocal chords.  I choose not to try to scream at the mouth piece to use Dragon Naturally Speaking right now.  So…this may not be too long since my typing skills are weak at best.  Imagine, in high school I typed 117 words a minute on a manual typewriter during a speed test.  My regular speed was 95 wpm.  Now I probably hit about 75 words a minute when I’m sailing…but the thumb/wrist still isn’t in the mood to sail.  My fingers have a lot of flexibility, it’s just the angle of the wrist can be a pain – and the wrist below the thumb is not happy at times.  You’re sick of hearing about my ills?  Not nearly as sick as I am of having them!

The PokerWorks Family HORSE Tourney kicked off at Full Tilt Poker and I, for one, plan on keeping it there if the rest of the crew is in favor.  There were 7 of us that made it, even though AlCantHang signed up and was being dealt in, he was in sit-out mode for most of it.

AlCantHang: whoops.  forgot i was registered
AlCantHang: time to get to work

I was first out, but I did win the first hand (yes, in a twisted way it works for me).  djhomeschool took 1st after a battle with Roberto55.  Glenda and Clearspine couldn’t make it.  One of our blogger/writers that now carries a blog on his own site did make it though, Ken of Poker Perambulation.  And NumbBono played with us again this week.

The results:

I stayed to watch it to the end, and congratulate Andrew on claiming the inaugural win.  But I always stay to watch them to the end. I have to say the chat was lagging in this one but MOI enjoyed the game…even the part where I started with 8-9-10 of diamonds in 7 Card stud, and caught the Q of Diamonds on the next card.  Problem was that Roberto55 started with rolled up Kings.  I managed to make 2 pair out of the mess and go bust as Roberto55 made quad Kings.  Ah…well…I hate to go bust just calling so I raised it every chance I got.  🙂  See you in two weeks at Full Tilt Poker.  But I’ll be back here soon with the rant I’ve been wanting to lay out into cyber.
