I’m here…but not

I can’t seem to find a time of day that I don’t want to fall down and sleep.  Umnhhh!  I don’t have a ramming jamming schedule planned so it’s not like I can’t go take a nap, I just get tired of feeling like I need one.  In other words, I’m sick and tired of being tired!  I’m blaming it on the last few weeks and figure it will start to smooth out soon.

Amy (the good neighbor) stopped over early this a.m. for a visit and to pick up some frozen huckleberries I brought back from the north.  Huckleberries?  Ever tried them?  One of my brothers goes picking every year…he took Kayanna with him this year and she did a fine job according to him.  They are a huge item in Sandpoint Idaho, all the shops and stores carry something huckleberry – syrups, jams, jellies, etc.  And one car market in a parking lot was advertising them fresh for $40 a gallon.  We had them sprinkled over icecream one night at my bro’s place.  Yummy!

I tried to play poker yesterday – the Sunday 1/4M at PokerStars.  A-k can’t beat 6-9…it just ain’t possible.  I’m kinda not in the mood to sit with mouse in hand and type vile chat in the ‘player’s notes’ right now so…

I was out really early – around 5 a.m. – and found this bling lying dead by the coach.  TheseDSC00207a.jpg things are really quite large when they are up and kicking (flying) and make an incredible buzzing/bombing sound as they dive bomb you.  Perhaps they really aren’t dive bombing but it feels as if they have homed in on you and are going to run you down.  When Kayanna was about five, at the old digs, one decided it liked her when we were out in the back yard.  She was screaming and running and it kept following her.  Her mom and I laughed our asses off.  Mean Grannie! With the great color as an eye catcher, I wonder how they manage to live very long in the desert.

I have a major project at hand, my coach needs washed and waxed.  I find myself debating, should I attempt it or should I find a mobile detailer here in the big P that will come out and give me a quote?  Umnhhhh!  Perhaps get a quote and then decide is the best choice.  I like to tumble things around mentally before I make a decision…and then I usually make the wrong one anyway.

The wind has been flitting about today but the weather is cooler.  Nice!

If I can stay awake later on tonight, I may attempt another hand or two of poker.  If not, the boys will just have to be deprived of my company and my donation.
