the PokerWorks Family HORSE went off quite well, but extremely quiet. It was…almost subdued in the chat area and I blame that on djhomeshool not showing up. He’s usually quite gabby. Clearspine barely squeaked into a seat – he was enjoying fine dining created by his daughter – just before the tournament started. Grupper and I were signed up a day or so ahead of the start time. Thanks Grupper!
I was even thinking it might be just the two of us and if that was the case, I think I’d suggest that one of us either chip dump and refund the other back half or we just close out the client and let it run out. I don’t have to heart to battle with goat heads-up. But that doesn’t go for all of you, some of you I definitely do.
JB missed the game start by a few minutes due to oversleeping. Perhaps he was just giving the rest of us a break and ‘letting’ us feel like we could win. Although most superusers don’t have a heart, I believe JB does. 🙂 He did stay and chatterbox us for a bit.
Yestbay1 was our winner. He’s also the bearer of wedding cake and I was happy to see him have a rush.
Glenda joined and played but her heart wasn’t in it and we all understand that.
the results:
1: yestbay1 (Grapevine), $20.00 (50%)
2: clearspine (Boulder), $12.00 (30%)
3: PokerWorks (Las Vegas), $8.00 (20%)
4: Greg P (Las Vegas),
5: cmacc85 (waycross),
6: PokerHack07 (Red Bluff),
7: grupper (((*))),
8: Alexe55 (Marina Del Rey),
Holy Andy Mackerel! I took third. The game was definitely rigged. Scary part is that I’ve placed in more tournaments this last week than I did in the last six months. Nothing major but nice to look at Q-Q or K-K every 300 hands or so and have them hold up for a change.
It’s still windy and cold which makes for good staying inside and playing internet poker weather. I was going to ramble but my brain’s having an issue with my forcing it to think and type. So…g’nite!
Sorry, I was driving back from Austin. Was going to check in and say high, but then I decided to chill out on the couch and watch some TV and decompress.
Chilling out is a good thing. Sorry we missed you, or you missed us, or however that works. See you next time. 🙂
I had fun in the tourney, and not just because I managed to finish first! I hope to be back for the next one, and more after that.
Dave I hope you do come back. I’d better put you on my ‘nag’ email reminder list. 🙂
Say high? Geez, I really was in Austin.
