On the really bizzaro horizon, I always thought Clonie Gowan was one of the Full Tilt Pros…didn’t you? Take a read on this jewel. And on the subject of Full Tilt, I played the Matrix tournament – you play one buy-in into four tables against the same players at each table.
UGH! The first ugh is purely personal, I have a very difficult time tracking 4 games at once…yah…I need something but I’m not sure what!
The 2nd ugh was in the software with some kind of lag, possibly through my system but I’m not having that problem on PokerStars. When I had an action button pop up and clicked on it, it would disappear and then reappear with the ‘buh-bonk’ nag that it was my turn to act. That gets really frigging old after the first minute and a half.
The 3rd ugh was just the typical poker shit, same player busted me out of 2 of them, I raised to 600+ with K-K, he called with A-2 off. He flopped a deuce, I went all in for $1,600 and he called and caught another deuce. In the other game, a few orbits later, I raised with A-K Spades all-in, around 900 (I think), he called with Q-J spades and caught a jack.
The 4th ugh is that I won one of them and still lost money.
I deposited $ into Full Tilt so I could play the Bad Beat on Kidney Failure charity tournament. I’m back to freerolls on PokerStars after flopping a King high flush in a micro limit NLH game and the board paired on the river. You know when you flop a big duke, you ain’t never gonna win the pot with it.
That’s the poker update for right now. Come back later for a PokerWorks H.O.R.S.E. tourney update.
