The Moon’s Promise of Tomorrow’s Light

Two nights of great moon sightings restores my inner feeling of peace.  I have been a busy little worker bee but stopping to stare at the moon as it slowly entered the evening sky was on the top of my priorities.  The first night it was up and translucently beautiful before the sky started to even lose its light to the encroaching shadows of night.

On the second night, darkness had slipped in to cover the world in silence and sleep and the moon began its silent, lofty climb to  lend a small whisper of hope that light would again come to the earth.  It hid like a shy beauty behind the curtain of the salt cedars until its path sent it into full view.

A dream written on a moon beam will always come true.  So it is spoken, so it is written, so it shall be.
