my internet satellite is still out there – lurking on the roof of the coach – pretending to be something useful other than a paper weight to help keep the coach on the ground when the wind takes off in Vegas. I’d refer to it as a boat anchor but God forbid the coach would ever take a dive into a lake or a stream…agh!
The tech that it installed it has been here so many times that I feel I could claim him on my taxes. He’s tried every thing, ordered new components, and just today installed something into the satellite itself that was brought by a Motosat rep coming through town. The satellite searches – forever like a buzzard waiting for something to die – but it doesn’t find a signal. I’ve been on the phone with Motosat tech in Salt Lake – too many times – so has the tech that’s the installer here in Vegas. There appears to be no answer. I’m waiting to hear on a decision to possibly sell it on consignment and just pick up another pc wireless card for my other laptop. Kee-rist!

The Absolute poker thing is a true nightmare as far as I see it. I read a post today that Absolute had contacted some players and offered them $500 to stay/play at Absolute – according to the post, no one was sure if it was a settlement or just a peace offering. And if I could remember the name of the site I visited, I would definitely link to it…CRS – Can’t Remember Shit!

The good side of things are that I’m going to a multi-family Halloween party this p.m. in which one of the main joys of my heart will attend. Master Riot will be there. Yippee! Love that boy! I think the party will be a ton of fun, they usually are when a lot of kids are in attendance. The camera is charging now, the body’s going to the shower in a moment, the face? Well…I could wear a mask but why try to hide this 60 year old smile from anyone?

Yesterday was a really nice break for me. I met a team that plays well together. They started with a pair, went to trips, and now have five of a kind. Ahhh…come on…I made five of a kind once. Dan and Kate, a great looking couple and open minded enough to sit through my garble of poker and dealing experiences as I trapped them in the Steed for a trip to Macaroni Grill for lunch. Nice! Dan writes for PokerWorks also, just type ‘PokerPeaker’ in the search box on the index page and you’ll find his work.
Time ran out on me again, gotta go.
