Pimping Duplicate Poker

If you haven’t downloaded or played Duplicate Poker, you should. It’s an experience from the beginning until…I can tell you it’s completely different. They GIVE you $10 immediately when you sign up for an account – Duplicate Poker. They also have a great sign-up bonus and they are one of the sites that have free rolls to the PokerNews Cup. I already bombed out of the first free roll. The second one is tomorrow.

I played a tournament that paid two places – they usually all do so you’ll have to check it to see what I’m getting at – I paid something like $3.20 to play in a guaranteed amount for two winners. It ended up paying three winners and even though I finished in first place, all three of us got $42.?? Nice! I wasn’t trying to beat anyone at my table, just the players in the same seat I was in, at different tables. They take credit cards for account funding. HOW! Read this!

Here’s the shot of me splitting 1st place with two others:

I can’t brag up their customer support. I’ve sent them two emails and they are unanswered. I did call them once and the person promised to write down and submit my issues. Oh well. What’s new?

I’m still trying to wade through the different screens and figure all of it out. Most of the chat on the main tournament screen pertains to people asking how to play and what happens. Most of the answers – so far – are from other players saying they have no idea. *choke-gasp* Maybe they need a chat tech/rep logged on 24/7 to answer those queries?

It is definitely different. Give it a try and then leave a comment for me, I’m curious as to how other players feel about it.

  1. You played the tournaments. I tried one. I’ve been playing the SnGs. They play really quick. They’re typically over in less than 10 minutes.

  2. I signed up through the PokerNews link to get into the freerolls and it is definitely a different experience. I feel like I am playing my seat opponents more than I am my table and that makes for some interesting situations.

Funny story, when I signed up I got a marketing e-mail welcoming me to the site and letting me know that I have been registered into t a freeroll that took place over a week ago. I wrote a quick post about that and the marketing manager left me a comment within 2 hours of me posting! I thought that was pretty funny. Have not had a need to contact support, but if you want a quick response, e-mail marketing instead 🙂
