What I thought I would get done

I didn’t. What I still want to do before I sleep won’t get done either. My time stress has turned into a total blown out, ugly looking fracture. Bellagio has its name tattooed down my back and on my forehead, I ain’t going nowhere but the dealer’s box and when I crawl out of that after an eight hour shift, I don’t believe there are any electrical impulses going on in my brain. The room has been a real screamer and it just keeps filling up. On Friday night we were still starting games at 1 a.m. Kee-rist! I’m crawling.

I managed to hit the Rio this afternoon after a muddle of poor sleep left over from trying to accomplish things after I arrived home from Friday night’s shift. My poor little coach is a mess, I need to do tidy bowl chores and a few other things in life’s daily cycles of society living but I just ain’t got there yet. I bagged it and went to pick up my WSOP Media Badge. It was great. I met with Craig – blogger and writer for PokerWorks – and those meetings are always nice. He’ll be pounding out updates for the main page here and keeping up with his blog too. I am honored and thrilled to have him as a co-worker on PokerWorks.

I ran into quite a few other people and had the opportunity to say hello, one was Nolan Dalla. What a great guy. Even though he’s busy and running hither and yon, he stopped and took time to visit with me for a few minutes. Nice!

I also saw Mean Gene, haven’t seen him since Aruba. Another nice touch to a good day in poker paradise. Gene’s latest post has a picture of me dealing at Bellagio.

I stopped and visited with quite a few people and took over 170 photos, about 25 of them are not good but it can’t be helped due to the lighting, no flash allowed, and the photography inside the tournament areas is taboo to everyone unless you are PokerNews, Bluff, or IMPDI. I’m outside the ropes as far as taking pictures go – even with a media pass. That’s a super drag because I’m the picture taking freak of the century, but I’ve heard that one way to be removed and not allowed back in is to start snapping photos. Umnhhh. OK!

The Casino Employee day 2 event started around 5:30. I randomly ran into Greg and Amy (my buddies from the ‘Pan Game Plays’) and we did some rail sweating on Chad, Greg’s brother. Chad’s one of our Pan Game group also and I managed a couple of decent photos of him. That’s all I have the energy for right now – one photo – and then I’m off to sleep.

I got the report from Greg that Chad held A-Q D, he was all-in with two other players, the Flop was A-K-J with two diamonds, Chad had the NUTZZZZ with a redraw to a Royal, the board paired on the turn and Chad was out. I don’t know what # he came in but he was in the money. Great showing Chad and congrats.

I just sent an order out to Sand Woman Land for a huge bucket…arrival time? Any second. Good Night Vegas.

  1. Linda- Read your link about the CP photo nazi from last year. I can’t tell for sure, but she looks like Joy Miller. Joy Miller recently ran a poker tourney @the Playboy mansion and got involved in a controversy with Terrence Chan, S. Dannenmann ,A. Duke and S. Elizabeth. Joy is no joy.
