I forgot the most important part

PSHAW! I don’t know why I didn’t get into this on the last post, but it’s positively a must.

What about the floor people and shift supervisors, and cage personnel and chip runners and cocktail waitresses and waiters that bring food into the room? Ever think that they aren’t thinking of tips when they work?

Why do you think Steve Wynn was being sued and the Wynn dealers just voted to go union? Why are people that are tipped supposed to give up part of their income to subsidize someone else’s wages that aren’t tipped because the ‘house’ doesn’t want to increase anyone’s wages. WOW! That’s a real can of worms – ain’t it?

A lot of players tip floor people and shift supervisors and cardroom managers and tournament directors, and pit bosses, etc. Do you believe that these tipping people aren’t expecting some kind of service or favor in return? If you don’t think so, you are nutz-z-z-z-z. I’ve seen decisions that are flawed because the person that is getting the better decision is a tipping player. And I’ve witnessed dealer abuse being allowed because the abusive player is a high roller or big tipper – not to the dealer but to the floor. And it happens everywhere I’ve ever worked and played.

I have almost two years of posts that are in my old diary pages from my original PokerWorks website. I’ve moved some of them over as time permitted to the new format and wordpress. I intend to move all of them over as time permits. Maybe you should take a reading through the archives, you might learn a few things.

And one more thing, if you don’t like what you read here, go somewhere else. I have no problem with your leaving…but just think of what you’re going to be missing. And I might write about you. As I’ve said more than once, if you don’t want to come across as a jackass, then don’t act like one.

  1. Hey… just wanted to give you a vote of confidence. I’m the same person that said I tip $1 on a $4 pot… anyways (and I’m sure you know this by now) I’ve run several different internet forums and I’ve found that on the internet where someone can always hide behind their screen, they will say the most outlandish and ridiculous things to get a rise out of someone or even to deflect whatever anger/hate they are feeling in their life.

You obviously do a really good job at what you do, so no need to defend yourself to morons on the internet who probably for the most part have limited live experience.

Good luck and maybe I’ll catch you at the Bellagio later this month!

  2. Linda…Can you explain why you are so full of yourself? Your a freaking card dealer. I know dozens of them and most of em learned in a short amount of time. Can you explain how dealing cards is helping the world? LOL

I don’t believe she’s joined the idea of pitching Triple Draw with solving the world’s dependency on fossil fuels. Learn to use parts of a post THEN twist the words instead of making ideas up.

Its much easier to troll this way.
