Tango – if you search Google, you will find there are 41,200,000 results (definitions). In a lifetime of nothing to do but click on links, I would have to wonder if one could ever go through all of those definitions (of course some of the links aren’t even valid now and a few years down the road? And there will always be more coming in…), and interestingly enough, “Tango” is the code word for the letter “T” in the Nato phonetic alphabet.

Tango – IMHO, is a dance, played out in many different forms, to different beats and rhythms, in different arenas, with different partners. I have a diverse bunch of thought waves running through my head RIGHT NOW

nothing connected, all fragmented, yet they comprise the whole of this post.

Of interest -mostly to me –

Bellagio has closed the ONLYsection in Mangia for smoking employees. Mangia is the help’s hall and had one isolated section for smokers since the day Bellagio opened. As of a few days ago, the section is still open but no one can smoke in it. In order to smoke on a break, an employee must now trudge up Heart Attack Hill and stand outside the employee entrance (Frank Sinatra Blvd.) in a designated area, away from the entrance, in order to feed their addiction. I have no idea what instituted this move. I do know it doesn’t hurt my feelings at all but I’ma nonsmoker. I do appreciate the fact that the air is completely clear in Mangia, no matter where I want to sit, eating or not. I’m sure a smoker doesn’t share my attitude in this. But like it or not, it is the way it is.

There are some strict disciplinary codes in effect for anyone caught breaking the rule by donning a jacket and walking into the Sports Book or casino area to smoke. And I’ve heard the smoking police are everywhere, watching everyone.

When I hand anyone my business card for PokerWorks, the first thing that happens is an “OMG!” type of thing when they see the beautiful, incredible Queen of Hearts next to my biz info. One such case is a long time Bellagio player, friend, named Hannah. Hannah is an incredible woman with all kinds of talent and on top of that talent, she drops in now and then and Tangos with the kids in Bellagio’s poker room. She likedBecat’s designso much that she wanted her first and only tattoo done with the Queen of Hearts as the subject. I found her a few months after the inking and told her I had to have pictures, after all, I supplied the art for the artist. Presenting Hannah!

I stuck my face into a couple of DVD’s instead of the computer screen the last few days. One of them is “Poker Bust Outs”. I’ve dealt to everyone in thatDVD other than two of them -I believe. I really don’t want to go into my opinion on it at this moment. A few of the cast memberspresented poker in perspective and how it affected their lives while they tried to beat the game and make a living from it. A few of them are scummy leaches on society and if they couldn’t use poker as the stagnant cesspool that keeps them broke and begging, they would find another arena to Tango in.

The other DVD leaves me in awe as I stare at a restructuring of self and life from the view presented by a number of learned and knowledgeable people. Most of the concepts in this DVD are what has been my brain food for the last eight or nine years; this voice of people and knowledge only adds fuel to my fire to work harder at improving my life and self. If you ain’t seen it, you are missing out. “What the bleep!? Down the Rabbit Hole” Watch it with an open mind, guarantee you won’t be disappointed. Tango, Baby!

Google got PokerWorks. The internet and online life revolve around Google and Google rankings. Sweet! NOT! PokerWorks (me) had the brilliant idea of bringing in ‘the works’. Bloggers! Yummy! The bloggers were set up as sub domains and all new posts loaded on the index page in chronological order. BOOM! With five new bloggers coming, all with new subdomains, Google filtered PokerWorks out as SPAM??? WTF? That’s why the index page is devoid of bloggers right now. Major changes coming again soon.
