Lordy, Lordy, Wayne turned 40

Wayne was having a big turning point in his life, well for some people reaching 40 is huge, so maybe it wasn’t a big turning point for him but some of us wanted to help him celebrate. He elected to work. We elected to show up and wish him the best day possible and many more happy ones throughout the years. That was on Sunday, the 19th. The Palms even opened a game for us and Wayne dealt to us – twice. He dealt the first hand at our table.

I asked the Floor Person if I could take a picture of Wayne so I could send it to his mother. The Floor Person said, “Send it to him.”

I was going to take the picture anyway, it just so happened the Floor Person was there while I was getting ready to take it.

Wayne - yikes! He

Marie, Me, Greg, Vivienne – left to right – we’re also part of the Pan Game that runs intermittently now at someone else’s house. Here we are at the Palms, I conned the 9s into taking our picture and while he was trying to figure out how to push the button on it, the dealer was pointing at him to act on his hand. That’s ‘the hand’ you see in the picture.

Lucy’s pet, (dog’s rule) Miss Amy was at the Palms with her parents that are visiting from out of town…of course she was there with Greg also. Lucy stayed home and let the ‘humans’ have a day out on the town.

And I couldn’t leave this beauty out. She’s been our server on my two play sessions at the Palms. She’s upbeat, attractive, definitely works the tables and makes sure everyone is served, and does it with flair and a great attitude. Miss Kelly:

And a Birthday thought for Wayne: Sometimes you have to take the ‘low road’. It teaches you how to be happy once you’re back on the ‘high road’. Love ya…lots.
