I’m currently shopping for ‘blogging’ software – I found some. Only problem is that I have to upgrade my server account to handle the software. More money to host this site. Tears! Big sobs! I know it would be so much easier for all of my loyal readers to see if I’ve posted, if I do the upgrade…but it’s a downgrade for my wallet and another learning curve. So little time…not enough cash…I’m still checking. If anyone comes up with any other solution, please let me know.

I went to work with the idea that I would work my full shift…that is until my name came up on the E/O. The room was hopping.

My friend from Colorado, Jim, was already falling down drunk by the time I came in to work. He was waiting for a seat in a $30-$60 Holdem game and we visited for a few minutes about his tendency to shift into drunk mode and ignore everything and everyone when he hits Vegas. Or rather, I visited about it, I’m sure he was beyond comprehension at that point. He did what most guys do – thought I was mad at him. Not even! He’s a big kid and can do whatever he wants.

He was convinced that when I got off at 3 a.m., we would go for a drink. I told him he wouldn’t make it until 1:30 a.m. in the shape he was in…some times I hate it when I’m right.

Glen and Jim are good friends and through Jim, I met Glen. I’ve known them both for a long time – back to the Mirage days. Glen came in later, after Jim was hanging somewhere in the wind on an Alcohol After Burn. Glen was still there when was I leaving the room and I stopped to visit with him for a few minutes. Good people!

I did get an E/O. The room was busy and jamming until somewhere around 1 a.m. I never had a bad table. I dealt two of the Fridays at Five Tournament tables. They were relaxed and easy…except for one older gent that really resembled a J. C. P. clone…poor guy. And he muttered and mumbled like J. C. Ugh! I really hope I never grow up to be like that.

I’m firmly lodged into my third glass of wine, playing $15-$30 on Empire, and patting myself on the back over the rework of my main page. I love it! I would though because it was my brainstorm and I did it!
