The time has come for CC to move on. It’s his choice and I completely support his move to seek out and destroy everyone’s bankroll in the poker universe. Naw…that’s really not what’s happening. He’s involved in retrospect, life thoughts, life goals, and churning through the rough waters of trying to figure out what we all seem to go through from time to time, where have we been, where are we now, and where the hell are we going with it all.
I bid him safe journey and smooth waters as he pulls his focus and family close and sets his sights on a new course. Thanks for being part of my blogging family, Craig, and for filling PokerWorks with great reading material. I will miss you here but we are always going to stay in contact with each other.
Here goes, this might be installment two and there might be another installment depending on how much energy I have and how long my fingers will obey on the keyboard and mouse. Check out installment one here. Continue reading A jump back to Howard Lederer’s B-day pictures→
Sounds like a disease, right? Naw…it’s just a break in the picture fest of Howard’s B-day party report. Very important to note that all the Poker Bloggers will once again be descending on Sin City. The sacrilegious events will take place from December 6th thru the 10th. The blogger tournament will be at the Venetian at 2 p.m. on the 8th. For more info contact johnhartness -@- gmail.com (yes, take out -@-). Come on Ten Mile and Ken, you can make this shoot-out. You have plenty of advance notice. Come on all you little Poker Bloggers, join the fun. And I still need way more input than I got here!!!!
The invitation said ‘Big surprise at 9 p.m.’ but the only big surprise I can figure is that we were all there. I was pretty close to seeing Howard come through the door and no one jumped and screamed “Happy Birthday!” or anything noisy and crazy. It was fun though. I met several people there with the intention of just milling and hanging out together. One was Carmen, she photographs well with Ted Forrest and you can see that picture on her blog! Don’t forget that I need more comments on the top 10 bloggers – yes, your opinions are important to me – so go do it now damn it! Continue reading Check this!→
I like this bit of insight into Phil Laak. Sure, I’ve dealt to him lots of times, and watched his personality changes, but this is a bit more of the people side of him and it’s intriguing…he’s not just your average unibomber. And don’t forget to leave me a comment on your favorite poker bloggers, why they are your favorite would be nice, but just your voice would be great to. Leave the comment here please.
I’m looking for the top 10 poker bloggers – just a list, just recommendations, and why. It’s a curiosity thing for me and also because I may want to write an article about that topic. How would we choose? I have no idea. There are so many blogs out there that even trying to sort through them would be a reason to do drugs. *sick side* Continue reading EVERYONE, Help me with this one→
the final segment – and I’m looking for a few interested parties in helping me crank this baby off into a pilot. First – figure out the major thing that’s wrong with it, leave me a comment. Continue reading The Biggest Game IX – a screenplay→
