I’ve had company since Monday, it’s been great. Jennie and Rain are here from Springfield. It’s been an all girl kind of thing with 3 year old Rain pretty much calling the shots. You know how girls are, even little ones, they know everything and it’s their way or the highway. She’s a serious hoot!
We are heading out around the valley tomorrow, Scout will stay home and protect the household, as my truck driving sis Vickie, Jennie, and Rain and I go out to the Chinese date farm and the Tecopah fair or some such type of thing. Cathedral Canyon is on the way to Tecopah…perhaps we’ll stop by again.
I’ve been out with Scout and Amy, hiking the desert in the a.m., busy the rest of the day and it doesn’t look like it’s slowing down. I’m too tired to ramble and tomorrow starts early. Back soon.
Saw a thing on PBS about the nutcases that inhabit the desert — present company excepted. I think China Ranch fits right in though. Who wouldn’t want an alligator lurking for customer’s pet and such. The thrift store clothes don’t equate to thrift store pricing for their dates, do they? Maybe I have a jaded palate but a dried date is a dried date is …
I accept – one of the nutcases that inhabit the desert – it’s easier to live life as a nutcase. I have to put up a post about the Christmas decoration in the desert too. That will add to the whole picture of loons.
