No, I didn’t get lost! Yes, the Montana Days are still in the works. What really happened is that I started leafing the two photo albums of players from the Montana Days and decided that I should do pictures along with poker tales. The damn pictures take a bit of messing with.
They are in one of the old style photo albums (hell maybe they’re still like that it’s just that I haven’t purchased a photo album in years since I went digital) that has the sticky surface underneath the plastic cover. The photos fit four to a page and they won’t ‘unstick’ easily so I’m scanning in the whole page of four and then cropping each individually, resizing, and naming…it seems to take forever but it is what it is. Since I can’t hire a monkey to do it for me, I have to do it myself. Expect a post with pictures hopefully tomorrow.
On dog news – Scout and I are hitting it off famously. The weather has been a fright with horrific winds, rain last night, and the wind makes dog/people walking a short process. Damn it! I need the exercise.
A Dr. visit to get prescription refills took part of my day last week and a Dr. visit today took some of my flesh off and left it for analyzing…yeah right, the fat on my ass! Oh wait! Brain tissue? Naw…some ugly little spots that just needed checking, one on my right forearm I’ve been meaning to have removed for over a year, the other on my back that I couldn’t see but the dermatologist could when I went in for another issue. Then a ‘age/skin’ thing that liked to build a little crusty pop out (ain’t aging wunnerful?) that was frozen off. Hell, the freezing hurt, and then stung for almost an hour like a continual needle prick. I barely felt the needle that numbed the spots to be removed but the freezing managed to ‘stick’ around for awhile.
The weather slowed down to a semi-calm attitude late this p.m. and the truck driving duo pulled in for a week or so. Back with pictures and Montana stories tomorrow.
