First the PokerWorks’ Family Tourney was played and MOI won (lucky bitch) and she’s so glad she is lucky and so glad she won. Getting pushed around twice a month is not only b-0-r-i-n-g, it’s hard on one’s poker mentality. Anyway, we had 10 players and that was extremely nice. My son Josh played and even after he got knocked out, he stayed to root for me…sending me little chat messages now and then. NICE!
And while I’m on the subject of Josh, go check out this page, his artwork is simply amazing and he did the ‘Endless Faith’ creation at the gallery showing we went to while I was visiting him.

IrishJay01 was new to our group. It’s great to have fresh meat faces come in. Having 10 entrants was exceptionally fine because we had 5 at two tables to start – it’s clumsy and awkward to have four at two tables. Andrew said he was watching a cooking show – his excuse for not being a chatter box this time – and he finished out of the money. Both him and Clearspine have been money finishers quite consistently. I think it’s because they are either superusers or because they crawl through crushed glass, carrying a tray of pleasant delights and delicious concoctions on their back to the Card Fairy. And if she requires more, they grovel and appease. I still believe she’s out there, lurking, just giving me a break for a short time until she hurtles her hateful card treachery at me again.
Grupper hadn’t been with us for the last few sessions, it was nice to have him back in the mix. cmacc85 said he should be back in Vegas in June – and since I mentioned I thought I would be there for 6 weeks straight covering the WSOP – he said for sure we will get together for our 1st meeting this time. I’m planning on it.
We may switch to Full Tilt for the next one. Some investigation into what it takes to set one up is required, anyone interested? Any volunteers, please leave a comment.

I got an email from the NRA today with this tidbit. How crazy is this?

Tomorrow was supposed to be a ‘hike’ and ‘lunch’ day in Vegas. It’s still a Vegas day but plans have changed. I have a semi emergency dental appointment early afternoon. So…lunch with my hiking date and hopefully his wife, and then off to the dentist. The hike? Another time.
