That’s what we played tonight at the PokerWorks Tournament on PokerStars. It was triple draw…and painful. Too many one card draws to 7s and 6s and miss, miss, miss. P-U! I got ousted after my fair share of bad draws and hung around to watch the finale.
At one point Charlie was down to the last bit of chips and made a huge comeback – I thought he might win it at that point. But being the fickle mistress that poker is, the lead was snatched away and he was gone. Clearspine and Pokerhack ended up chopping – Clearspine’s doing single-dad-watching-kids-while-mom’s-away duties right now and he had to get his kidling to bed…or so he said. I think he was really afraid that Glenda would snag his chips and he’s have to listen to it. Heh heh.
The final result:

My run in poker tournaments hasn’t been a thing of glory again. As a matter of fact it sux. I played three today, not counting the PokerWorks Badugi donk-a-thon, and didn’t do a thing in any one of them. *sigh*
Oh well, poker isn’t everything…right? Well, maybe it is.

On the other side of the world, my little budster Riot starts school tomorrow. I’m not sure who it will be fright night for…him or them. I feel for him, it’s going to be like getting dumped in a wasteland full of landmines because he’s just not been out of the household loop since birth.
Baby Katie turns two in a week. Scary situation, I haven’t seen her in quite some time because M-O-T-H-E-R is having some issues, if I told you what they were, you’d be writing your own Reality TV series and I want to write it so, NO!

The weather went way weird tonight. It was about the time I got knocked out of the Badugi tournament, it was probably the Card Fairy recuperating from her accident/consequent coma and arriving on the scene to let me know she was alive and well. The wind came up in a hellerly gusting fashion with some intermittent rain, but mostly blasts of wind. Then it was gone. It should cool down considerably with that little stormer blowing through.

Donkey Kong on the Wii is one of my latest favorite games. Why didn’t they have the Wii when I was a kid? Oh yeah, it would’ve been hard to play with no TV and no electricity in some of the places we lived in. But the good news is I’m still a kid. Maybe I enjoy the Wii more than the average person does.
Gotta go! Something’s waiting but not sure if it’s a game, sleep, or…
