Everything to do with this festive event is first class, the food, the planning, the party, the charity poker event, the party, the big names, the party, the prizes, the party, the fireworks, the party… I don’t believe anyone could attend and ever leaving stating that they had a bad time or it was just so-so.
All of the wrist bands for the tournament and to be admitted to the event had a 2g usb memory card as the connector that joined the band. Nifty little add-on. Ater the tournament, it was time to hit the shark tank and find my friends (I invited a small village to the party, thanks Suzie), and I went in search of…
It was hot. The wind that blew was hot. This little piggy looks like I felt in the heat. Let me add that although I’m sure a lot of people enjoyed the roast, I find it to be quite unappealing but everyone has their own idea of food. The wind was active most of the night and only stopped at one point for about a half hour, when it did, the sun had left the area but it was still too damned hot for this kid, other than the heat, the whole event was was great. So let’s do pictures.
The Jets. Karina has been the MC of the entertainment the last two years and she does a great job!
On to more of the crowd:
My special friends Dr. Lawrence Gardner and his wife Lynn (all my friends are special, each for different reasons):
The 1st picture on the left is my grandson Ryan.
Which of the following don’t write for PokerWorks?
Just a flash of the Fireworks, they were incredible and fired to different songs the DJ ran:
Tootsie and Robert Williamson III
Believe it or not, I ran out of space on my 2g memory stick, and I left the other one at home in my second computer. Tear Jerker! I could have taken a lot more if my own memory had been working.
’til next year…
Good pics, Linda. Have a good trip North this year. As much as I hate the following: Show us some water. Darn, I hate that. There are trout there, I just know it. None around here.
Sad, that.
thanks, linda i did not get to go so love to check it out on your blog
Jill, I meant to get back here sooner with a comment. I actually looked for you at this party, expecting you to be there. Work must’ve reared its ugly head and gotten in way. Glad you were able to catch up with some of it through Tango.
Great coverage of the WSOB 2009, Linda! It was wonderful to see you there.
Hey Linda, Did the pics. you took of me and my sister at the WSOP at the Golden Nugget turn out. if so, could you send them to me by e-mail: [email protected]. Wham, Bam, thank you Pam
Pam, do you mean the shot of you trying to put your head in Dennis Phillip’s lap as you two sat beside each other at the poker table? LMAO!! Yes you did. Even though you were bluffing and didn’t pull it off. And I sent you the pictures. Hope you got them OK.
