I bounced out of the PokerStars Sunday 1/4 million after wading through 25K players, about 200 out of the money.  Heads-up as usual, start with the best hand, but you ain’t gonna win the pot.  Same thing happened a few minutes ago in $10+1 rebuy – guaranteed 70K.  Win a pot with Q-Q and have 25K, nice, at that point the blinds were $200-400, then I pick up A-Q off in the BB and a player that’s trying to lose all of his chips every hand raises it all-in for close to 9K and I was sure I had the best hand so when it came back to me I went all-in to eliminate two other players.  That worked, they folded.  But the guy that hated his chips had K-10 off and caught a K on the river.  Down to 15K and sit. And sit. And sit. 

I stole a decent pot with nothing.  Raised about every 3rd orbit and managed to pick up the blinds and antes without running into confrontation.  Sit frigging card dead for 300 years.  When the BB was $2,500 I picked off the antes and blinds with A-5 off.  And then I found fucking pocket 10’s.  I’ve gotten knocked out of 4 tournaments with that hand now on the proverbial ‘coin flip’.  Up against A-K or A-Q off and they manage to snag a card every time.  Not to worry, I went all-in for 25K and got called by A-Q off.  Yah, baby, you take it.  Perhaps I should be happy that I claimed 184th place for $84.26…I’m not!  I’m irritated as hell.

Is there a reason that I can never find a card rush?  Did I kill something in my last life at a poker table and it’s ruined my chances forever for claiming a decent win again?  When I say card dead, I mean totally stone dead, 6-3, 6-2, 6-4, 9-3 type of dead, orbit after orbit, and it just doesn’t change.  I picked up A-Q once and A-K once, A-10 twice in three hours.  No cards.  No shot.  Yah, I’m whining.

I have another whine too.  Bugsy’s Club went by the wayside and PokerStars picked up their players and accounts. I had a Bugsy’s Club account that had a little $ in it and truthfully, I forgot about it, just never played there.  The whine concerns the fact that I can’t cash that out without playing off x amount of points at PokerStars.  Boo Hiss!

I’m off to Vegas tomorrow for more dental work.  Yippee!
