and so am I.  I’ll be heading out tomorrow a.m., with bag packed, and spend Friday and Saturday in a hotel in Las Vegas.  It seems a bit strange, to have a house there, an RV that I live in 70 miles away, and still go in to stay in a hotel…just like a real blogger does when they hit this event every year.  *Hey, imagine me being real*

I weighed out the pros and cons of taking the coach in for two days, by the time I spend an hour unhooking and hitching up, pay the fuel costs to drive in, find an RV park and pay the nightly cost there, unhitch and level up, and do all of it over again coming home on Sunday, it’s easier on my body and brain and almost as cheap to get a room.  And as far as staying at the house in town, it’s not even a remote possibility because I DON’T WANT TO.  I like my privacy and calming energy waves when I escape the casinos and crowds.

Of course I’m taking my laptop and will work for food (literally) and spending money, for some hours of each day because that’s the way life comes down.  But I’m expecting to have one helluva good time.  I started reading a few of the archives and kind of got trapped into wanting to read more.  Everyone’s right, my butt in the box is some great reading and it’s too bad I couldn’t have stood it another 90 years or so to keep everyone entertained.  On the subject of archives, this one is my first adventure into the WPBT.

Lots of work to do before I pack up for the next few days in Vegas.  Hope to see you there!
