If it was mental illness I’d figure to be all better shortly.  Since I live my life being mental, I know pretty much how to go with the flow.  But this is a damn virus/germ thingy either donated to me by Riot or his mom.  I’m down to sinuses that are almost under control but the last few days have found me feeling quite puny, like I had the flu – but not.  That’s either something to laugh about or cringe about since some of the people I’ve known that were my age felt like they had the flu and then died in their sleep of a heart attack.  Not funny, but kinda funny when you’re me. My sis and I joke about it and declare that we’d better keep our life insurance policies in effect.  Well, we are sick bitches, what did you expect?

I am extremely happy that our new president is Obama.  I don’t feel the need to explain why so I won’t.  There’s a great article by ‘writer Jen’ and a fantastic picture of Obama and Negreanu together here.  If you haven’t read it, go do it and then come back.
