My lips look like I’m a walking ad for collagen injections – and some type of permanent make-up. Reddish pink, more red than pink, that’s the color of these beauties that are driving me insane. The report of the Dr.’s visit and the call to the dentist are here.

Nothing much changed in the lip area from Friday to 7 a.m. Monday. I visited the Dentist’s office and the good news is that my face won’t fall off and I’ll survive. The bad news is that I’m having an allergic reaction to the plastic, temporary crowns. It happens…more to women than men, so my dentist tells me. As soon as the permanent crowns come in, I will be locked back in the dentist’s chair, until then, there isn’t much can be done about it.

The bad news is that if they aren’t in on Thursday in time for the dental work, it will be about 10 days because the whole dental office closes for a vacation.

The good news is I think I found a way to save myself.

My upper and lower lip are affected because of contact with the temps. I bought a child size sports mouth guard from Walmart, 97c, boiled that baby up and slapped it in my mouth. It covers those evil temps and after about 14 hours, it seems the swelling is going down some. Sometimes I’m so damn smart I have to pat myself on the back. I can live with this…for awhile.

Tomorrow night is the annual WSOB – hosted by Howard and Suzie Lederer and Steve Z. And my camera battery is charging. Catch up later for some pictures and a report. Yeah…hope my lips don’t precede me through the door…

I couldn’t help but wonder where this person got their information from, it came in a report from the WSOP media – During final table play, Nguyen became testy which is uncharacteristic for the popular poker champion. He was dissatisfied with several things, anger perhaps fueled by a run of losing hands and bad luck. He later defended his outbursts by saying, “You can’t be friends at the poker table. You have to want to win. If you want to make friends, then go bowling.”

Obviously the media writer has never dealt to Scotty when they state ‘uncharacteristic for the popular poker champion’.

Awwww gee, does that sound like I’m bashing him? How can I bash someone when they make all the moves that put them in a bad light. And if it’s mentioned that he became ‘testy’ in view of the world wide public, they should see his moves when he’s not in the limelight and on camera.

I cashed in PokerStars Sunday $100K and another tournament that day, not enough to jump up and shout about. I’ll keep trying, and get to a Chasing Chris post soon.
