A follow up on my correspondence with Countrywide, Misty – from the office of the president – called me yesterday. A check is being issued for the bill I sent them (incorporated in the registered letter I sent), and should be on its way soon, along with a follow-up letter of all of my correspondence with Misty. Truthfully? I never expected them to pay me for my time, let alone actually call me back and follow up. If anything, I figured to get a ‘I’m sorry’ ending and it would go by the wayside unless I elected to push it further…and I would have. It is very refreshing.
My afternoon yesterday was spent with little Miss Katie. What a smiley, happy baby she is. She’s seven months old now and very easily entertained and easy to hang with, no colic, no screamer beamers for no reason, and drooling like a fox at an open hen house door on a late night in August. No teeth on those gum lines yet. Such a simple time of life, eat, sleep, get a bath, diaper change, scream a little for attention, get picked up and loved, repeat. And yes, I’m aware that not all babies are loved, wanted, and cared for – but let’s don’t go there…I can’t stand the thought. If the whole world was this easy to get along with, what a slice a pie for this granny.
I managed to claw out 3rd place in a Razz Tourney on PokerStars, for a win of around $120, you can read about it here. Obviously, the only way to beat the game is just jump into another seat. That’s what I do. You can find me on PokerStars – look for me under ‘requests’, ‘find a player’, ‘PokerWorks’. Ever thought about the name PokerWorks? I have. It covers just about all there is to say about Poker IMHO.
In yesterday’s post I sent you out to see a phenomenal work of art on sidewalks. You have to look at this one too! I want a couple for my yard.
It feels like summer’s coming to Vegas, but so is the WSOP. Get ready for the heat!
I am truly amazed that you are getting a check from Countrywide. That is great! Once again proving that you don’t get if you don’t ask!!!!
