Expectation

Lately I’ve been kicking around the word and world of EXPECTATION and believe it or not, everything we do fits right into that little orb of insanity. Everything we do is based on expectation. I’ve gleaned valuable insight into relationships and expectation just from my own adventures and experiencing my sons’ life situations; include a multitude of friends and relatives also. Plans for my menu

Tonight I’m going to meet Ryan and Tami for a buffet and for dessert we’re diving into live poker. I hope we find a tournament with a small buy-in, if not, I’ll play limit or small blind NLH with them. Here’s hoping we win. 4X – Little Red Rock

Dan and I started out with a plan this a.m. It semi worked. Tomorrow, the 5th, marks a big day

I will start early, about 5 a.m. or so, and head North to Hyman Place. I’m picking up the mother of my new granddaughter to be. A trip to the hospital – induced labor – and hopefully by noon there will be a sweet little angel lying snuggled next to mom. I can hardly wait. I get the best part, picture taking, support, and probably a few tears – because I’m like that. So congrats are due…to me of course. Congratulations, Granny!

I can also say this first year could be a total, deal ’til you drop, hectic little venture. But it could also be a lot of fun and plenty of E/O’s. Oh well. I just have to wait to hear it from people that got to go. Continue reading No Turks & Caicos for me
