I had lunch today with Carole, and then we decided to go sit in the chair I’m going to marry, we took turns, and then I tried out the LandRoller skates. In the store of course. Weird. They would definitely take some getting used to, and at $249, I don’t have the time or desire. We gave up browsing The Sharper Image after we looked at a variety of fun and crazy gadgets and useful doodle-e-doos too. They had an amazing ant farm that’s got some strange looking gel in it, enclosed in a small plastic case, and after adding ants, you get to watch the ants eat the gel away and build tunnels through it. You get the ants later, after you buy the ant farm. These were big red ants, those bastard kind that bite the hell out of you if you sit down in one of their hills out in nature’s garden. I’m curious as to what happens to the ants after they eat all the gel. Or do you buy more gel? Or do you get more ants? Umnhhh. It was pretty interesting though.

One of the best parts of the day came when I walked out of the store and found this waiting for me:

Today is the beginning of Day3 at the WSOP. Just another week and it’ll be over. Six weeks is one helluva lot of poker. Since I’m on LOA from poker, I’m not even going to think about it right now. But I’m sure I will later today, after I wake up, and realize that poker history is happening at the Rio.
