The Server has been down. Ugly as hell for me since my escape hatch from the human side of life is to write about it here in Cyber. But on to other things instead of dwelling on FRUSTRATION!
The Blogger’s Summer Classic is on the way. If you are a poker blogger, coming in for the tournament, and you aren’t on the list for the tournament yet, you need to check out the date/time/register with April. Don’t wait!
Last year, Columbo brought WPBT hats (they be kewl) on the assumption that people would buy them. They did! This year he’s asking for your order in advance (pay him when you pick up the hat). If you don’t order one, don’t count on finding one.
The old WPBT mailing list is defunct – gone – kaput! If you want to subscribe to the list – and stay abreast of current affairs, you must register.
On other news for the event:
Howard Lederer will be one of our featured speakers – he’s positively committed if he is in town.

If I’m in town, I would be happy to drop by and speak. I would probably like
to play in the WSOP, but I could be there from 10-12. Send me an email
closer to the event date and if I can I will make sure I am there.

Phil Gordon is positively committed – he has issues though…like Roshambo! And more importantly – Put a Bad Beat on Cancer!

Linda,
I’m more than happy to meet with the Bloggers. Please
have all of them bring at least $5 for Roshambo… I plan
on going an unprecedented undefeated against them. Any
and all money I win from them I’ll donate to the Bad Beat
on Cancer initiative, which I’d love for them to cover this
year… www.badbeatoncancer.org.
Please CC my business manager, CC’ed above, with
any more information closer to the time.
Alex has officially entered this event into my calendar.

And Michael Craig – he promised to introduce both Phil and Howard. And he’s going to hang with us and play the tournament too.

I promise that I will be as brief as anyone wants me to be, though I guarantee you that no one would have complained about the length of my speech if the acoustics were better. In any event, I will be LESS than 15 minutes unless you tell me otherwise. And I’ll do the Introductions for the other speakers if you want. I will also take requests in advance. When you contact the bloggers, tell them I’ll give them 10 minutes on any subject they want. Or we can pick subjects and they can vote.

And now that I’ve gotten through some of Blogger news, it’s time for a shower and a trip across town before work. More tonight.
