Little miss goodbehavior

I think I’m boring.  I never go out into the craziness of the world any more – like flinging money recklessly into a machine that never pays out or gets too much to eat, or sit down in a live poker game, or even go into a casino environment.  After spending 35 years with a daily diet of people going off their rocker (me too), it now seems a bit bizarre to think about how quiet my life is…to a degree.  It’s really been quiet now that my Dan has gone off to Phoenix.

I’m enjoying the hell out of it.

On to my dog – here she is:

Scout_011.jpg

She looks like she could drag me across the desert.  This isn’t my first dog venture ya know.  I just gave them up as my kids got older and I got tired of crying my eyes out when something happened to them.  I did take one of dadparental’s dogs back a few years ago when I lived at the old digs – and was working 5 days a week – and it really did make me crazy…the whole thing.  I hated getting up to walking the dog, come home from work walk the dog, hurry home because of the dog, etc., etc., etc. My whole circumstance is different now and I’m really quite prepared to be buddette pals until death do us part.   Her current care taker is a dog trainer and this is the run down I received in an email, plus we’ve had a lengthy phone conversation:

Female

Spayed

Current on shots

Sweet with her people and children.

Will nip or bite people who show up unannounced on property.

Must be introduced to new people in the home by owner.

Very confident dog

Good on leash

Knows basic commands Sit, Down, Come.

Is not OFF LEASH or Advanced trained.

Is a house dog.

Crate trained

Housebroken

Knows how to use a dog door.

Lays quiet and patient behind a baby gate.

Barks when needed, otherwise quiet.

Great in the house and Mellow.  . I  have her on a quarter acre and in the house, we go to the park 2 times a week and she is content.

Active dog who loves walking and going places.

No cats or fast moving creatures (rabbits, mice, rats,  gophers, squirrels, livestock) fine with chickens according to old owner. She has high prey drive ( common and desirable from this breed) will kill them if caught.

Nice dog who needs a firm loving owner, someone who can appreciate her for who she is, someone who understands she isn’t a poodle.

Belgian Malinois

Her name is Scout.  Thinking about her today, I had the vivid jolt of a dominating female dog that turns into an old bitch…mainly self interjection.

See you soon Scout!

On to one of the little people I love a lot, his Riotness and the newly lost front tooth.  Dadparental sent me an iPhone picture which came in quite grainy but quite funny:

Riot has a Mohog.  Of course you will argue that it’s a Mohawk but we play Donkey Kong on the Wii and Riot is convinced that it’s a Mohog like the one that we fight with in the game.  So Mohog it is.

Poker has been a bit rough.  The Daily Dollar at Full Tilt is a multi-entry tourney and now it’s a dash of the donkeys – include me in that.  Yesterday I got queens crushed by 4-5 off suit and a-k suited beat by some other wonder of wonderments and the 3rd tourney I can’t even remember how I busted out.  Tonight I played 3 entries (I like 3) and got A-K killers coming after me in two tourneys and I was out (my last suited A-K got trampled by 7-4) – down to one table.  I made it down through the donkey stampede of over 14k players to the money which starts at 1060 players.  I finally picked up 10-10 and ran into q-q on a board of all low cards, yah, there was a raised pre-flop blah, blah, but that doesn’t mean much in most cases.  Along with me came a caller that had some ridiculous cards like 9-7 off suit for all of his stack – around 20k.  The queens stacked one big frigging pot.  Goodnight desertblade!  I barely made the first pay-out level.

While you’re shopping around for freerolls to play in, check this out!

Tomorrow will be another day though and I’m looking forward to it.  G’nite, my donkeyness needs rest to get ready for the run tomorrow.  My good behavior may pay off for the donkeyfest.

Not sure but it might translate back to one of S’s dirty jokes…

  2. Nice update…and that’s saying something cause I’m a cat person. Hah!

I’ll still never forget that hand at the blogger tournament at IP where I think five of us had a pocket pair. Crazeeee. You recapped that hand on this blog somewhere.

    Take care,
    Michael

  3. Ken, I think you have too much time on YOUR hands to figure that one out. 🙂

Michael, I was thinking at first it was at Caesar’s Palace where we had a table almost entirely of bloggers, but now…more thinking…it was the first tourney we had at the IP I believe. And it was crazy – crazy fun. thanks for pushing my memory buttons.
