Over a week ago today

that damned wisdom tooth was removed and I’m still singing the blues with pain and ag-o-o-o-ny!  I’m going to be forced to call my dentist and sing the blues in his ear if it’s still the same tomorrow…but then I have to make a trip into Vegas tomorrow so I may just drop by the office.

I did go hiking this a.m. and got a coupla pictures worth posting.  This one I absolutely fell in love with:

The first one is the Dodder (alien life form) we’ve been tracking one creosote bush in particular, I’m still hoping to catch it when it blooms; the second is a purple daisy we’ve not seen before – we’ve seen white; the third is a cactus in bloom:

Carole came out to my Pahrump digs today and we spent a good part of the time gabbing and working on a website for her political campaign, the dns settings are taking way to long to load to make me happy.  She finally went home with us accomplishing very little and she’s going to have knee surgery tomorrow.  Good luck and God speed on healing.

The old digs should be hitting the auction block in two days, according to recontrust and bank of america, so long, it’s been good to know ya, and it’ll be much better after you’re gone.  This last few years has been pure misery when it comes to the whole aura and circumstances around that house…yeah…another book I need to write.

The bad neighbors are moving out at the end of the month.  Joe, the owner, stopped by to visit with me yesterday and we jabbered for over an hour.  He works at Bellagio and has since before opening.

Stick two forks in me, I’m beyond done for the night.
