It’s Friday

Woo Hoo! Not too long ago that had real meaning in my life. Now it’s just another day of the week that I put on my list of great days because I’m not in punching the time clock at Bellagio. I’m busier than a cat covering scratch though so that part of it hasn’t slowed down.

A few points of interest:

Some of you may have noticed the T6 Poker banner floating at the top of my page, it’s related to Tony G.’s business deal with them – he plays on their site but doesn’t have any interest/ownership part of it. You can read it here and you’ll note there are a flood comments coming in. Me? I wish someone would give me a business deal to play on their site. *sniff* As it is I’m playing my ass off on PokerStars, trying to run up some dough for a serious bankroll in the Chasing Chris project.

Our writer, Katie Lindsay, gave us some insight into a pro player’s thoughts when she tapped into David Grey. David tells it like it is (echoes my thoughts completely on the long term play and player spotlight) and he talks about Brian Townsend – sure, you remember the post where I got creamed by all the misery lover’s comments about how I shouldn’t be writing about anything, just shut up and deal, but everyone showed up here to read about it so they could bitch about my writing about it…wow…what a mouthful! Search “the round table” on PokerWorks and you’ll find a lot of pro related articles by Katie.
PokerWorks’ writer, Aaron Hendrix, will be bringing updates and real life poker tales for the next few weeks as he covers The World Poker Open. Aaron also writes great strategy articles for us, just type his name in the search box at the bottom of any page and you’ll find all kinds of useful poker tips from him.

CarmenSinCity gave us this article. If that isn’t the insanity of business, people live on welfare – funded by the government (taxes) – and the outcry is to abolish poker machines to protect the people from themselves, yet the government wants the income from the machines. Hello loony tunes.

My dentist made time for me on Wed. Did you know your lower jaw moves forward as you age? Must be like the breast/butt thing moving down to the floor type of thing. That’s why the crown broke off in the front of my mouth, jaw drifts forward, changes bite pattern over time. Creepy. My dentist is building an appliance for my mouth. Naw…I didn’t know they made anything that big either. It will be finished in about 10 days time. I wear it for around 10 days to two weeks, it keeps my brain from sending a signal to tell me how to bite…shit, just when I was hoping I’d get to tear into someone. Take the appliance out to eat and talk, sleep with it…yikes! Then back to the dentist for more forms and x-rays to see how to progress with the bite problem. Funny, sometimes I feel like my teeth moved out of position over night – especially when I bite my lip or tongue while chewing food – but I didn’t think about them moving forward permanently with age. Ain’t this aging thing fun? *heavy sigh*

Gotta fly, broom’s waiting! g’nite!
