Thank God for Wal*Mart!

I’m a day behind with writing, mainly because I can’t drive and type at the same time. On that note, I missed a million great pictures because I can’t drive and take pictures at the same time…welll…I took a few. *cheater*

Like this one was right through the windshield – still in the northwestern part of Montana:

And this one was taken in the southern part of Idaho – see a shot coming up and roll down the window – and just keep firing:

Until you end up with the result you want. I actually wanted this picture for a long time – every trip up and back down. I just never stopped to take it. If I hadn’t been pulling an extra 14,000 or so pounds behind me, I might have stopped, instead, fire all salvos until I get the end result:

I got up early on Monday and kicked my plan in to high gear. Some days the plan just doesn’t work out so I pretend I didn’t have one. *smirk*

I called Wheeler RV and left a message for the new service manager. At the turn over rate there, I wonder if he will still be there when I hit town. He called me back…appointment at 7:30 a.m. on Thursday, which means I sort of have to hustle. And some new parts came in for the coach. Imagine that! I was under the impression everything was in and had been installed when I drove off their lot. Hello lawsuit! But all of that is for the future.

I headed for home. The pictures and story will have to wait. Right now I’m about an hour on the South side of the dreaded Salt Lake (my dread) and I wanted to make Salt Lake before I slept. After getting through the terminal, never ending lights and tag ends of the city that runs into another city, I finally found a Wal*Mart. Yippee! Me and about 15 other truckers and RV’ers are here for the night. More tomorrow!
