The WSOP has a seat for me

This is a shorty – to be followed by, hopefully, a longy. I played the PokerWorks/TitanPoker free roll and went out so fast I almost didn’t know I got dealt in. Damn it! It was for a seat in the ‘big one’. I hope to have more news on that free roll later because I ‘sweated’ a long time friend, Than, as he fought his way to 8th (I believe) place and then went bust. *sniff* I so wished he’d win if I didn’t. More on Than and the tourney later.

Tomorrow, I’m playing the Casino Employee Event at the WSOP, thanks to my buddy and supporter, Michael Craig. Michael asked me last year if he could put me in. “No”, I said. “I don’t want to play in it.” WTF!!! This year, same offer, different answer. Hell yes! I even get the ‘pro’ split when I place in the money…note I said “WHEN”. Now, all the rest of you have to do is keep the Card Fairy entertained for the next two days and cover my back. If she starts poking around, nosing in my direction, kick up a storm and have a little BBQ party for her so she’ll come running to get you – instead of me.

And since I need sleep – and I do so want to win – this is goodnight. And this is what’s going to be frying my brain as I head across town in the A.M. for the battle of the green felt:

Heat - Ouch!
